Property Maintenance and Quality Assurance
Due to the varying levels of complexity and cost, we feel it is sensible for landlords to choose how much control Home Sweet Home have over the ongoing maintenance and repairs of your property. For instance, many landlords request the smaller repair jobs costing under £200 should be carried out without the need to contact them.
The majority of maintenance jobs will be deducted from the rent. Larger jobs will be referred to the landlord for specific instructions. We always obtain at least 2 quotes for larger jobs and will not have the work completed until the go ahead has been given by the landlord.
Home Sweet Home do not take a commission from trades companies. 100% of payments go directly to the company carrying out the work. This allows for an honest and transparent maintenance service. Any savings or discounts will be passed directly to the landlord or tenant.
For your peace of mind, we also have a 24hour emergency contact number for tenants. In the unfortunate event that something needs to be attended to out of office hours, a representative from Home Sweet Home will be available to take action as required.
